In April 2024 Christine Nicholson, the orchid propagator at Glasgow Botanic Gardens, travelled to Crete to observe the island’s orchids in their natural habitat. The trip was organised by the Royal Horticultural Society who provided sponsorship for Christine’s trip along with help from the Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens, the Hardy Plant Society and Mediterranean Plant and Gardens.
Join Christine at 7:00pm on Tuesday 22nd October when she will give an illustrated talk highlighting the flora she encountered on her visit.
The Friends of Glasgow Botanic Gardens are pleased to offer this free lecture jointly with the Glasgow Natural History Society and the Scottish Orchid Society
